Recorded over a very short time in early 2011, “It Is What It Is” marks a sort of end to this projects musical journey. As many other projects started to take over my life I decided I had one more album left in me (for the moment) with this project. This album is not pretty. It is not the most polished or poetic. But it lyrically has deep seeded meaning to me for where I was in my life at that moment. It is closer to the first album as far as sound quality and feel. Some songs were made up on the spot and there are not many instruments or ear candy. It is raw and pure. Often ugly but never dishonest. And it marks the BREAK took on a road traveled with this project.
